About our Doves

For hundreds of years, the release of white doves at weddings has
symbolized love, peace, joy and the promise of new beginnings. As they
rush from their baskets, the flurry of their wings will express your joy and
excitement. These birds will mate for life and will always return home, to
the safety of their nest, when released.

The doves will join into a flock after being released and normally circle
overhead briefly to get their bearings before flying home together.

These birds are specially bred for their homing instinct and their snow white
color. We spend countless hours conditioning them for your special day to
insure they return home safely.

Some people make the sad mistake of buying doves from a pet store to
release. these are cousins to the one's we use but are not the type of birds
that should never be released ! These poor birds have no homing instinct
nor any home to go to if released. These poor birds will probably fly to the
nearest tree. And, because of their white color, it's unlikely that they will
survive long in the wild ! So Please, Don't Make This Mistake
